**Desktop UI & Mobile Browser Lead Developer** **(Onsite)** **About Cognizant's Digital Engineering Practice:** At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small cross functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. Small, forward-thinking engineering teams generate collective insight and comradery, thus increasing their ability to anticipate unforeseen development scope changes and maintain high quality results. Across our US Studio system or within client development sites, our Digital Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative cloud-based solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Working in Cognizant Digital Engineering provides DevOps engineers consistent opportunities to push digital boundaries while growing their exposure to transformational technologies. **Location:** **San Leandro, CA.** Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) **Responsibilities:** + Lead and mentor a team of software engineers. + Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. + Ensure 100% code coverage for line and branch using test automations. + Implement automation testing using BDD frameworks. + Collaborate with other technology teams and architects to define and develop scalable design solutions. + Implement resilient and secure code solutions to enhance customer journey experiences and digital capabilities to automate. + Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. + Leverage advanced troubleshooting skills to efficiently identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs. + Help maintain code quality without sonar issues / vulnerabilities + Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. **Qualifications** + Professional Degree: BS in Computer Science or Engineering. + 10+ years demonstrated experience in developing enterprise level responsive web applications using front end technologies, and related testing tools/methodologies. + 6+ years demonstrated experience in requirement analysis and application design. + 6+ years of strong real-time experience in developing ReactJS based applications. + Developed applications with good usability principles, cross-browser compatibility, web security (XSRF, cross-site scripting defense), accessibility, Markup standards, Last mile performance (minify, closure tools, sprites) and HTML document architecture. + Experience in implementing web accessibility using ARIA techniques + Experience with Front-End application Unit-Testing, Integration Testing, Performance Testing and Test-Driven Coding practice. + Experience with Agile practice, daily Stand-Up/Scrum and accountability to the software development team + Good analytical, written, and verbal communication skill Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: + Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance + Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off + 401(k) plan and contributions + Long-term/Short-term Disability + Paid Parental Leave + Employee Stock Purchase Plan Applications will be accepted until May 5, 2025. **Salary and Other Compensation:** The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 - $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
