Overview The Investment & Advisor Consulting Intern will gain hands-on experience by supporting both the Private Wealth Management (PWM) and Advisor Consulting teams. This role provides exposure to investment research, portfolio management, business development, and client service while working alongside experienced professionals.
As part of the PWM team, the intern will assist with investment research, market commentaries, performance reporting, and portfolio analysis, gaining insight into managing customized client portfolios. On the Advisor Consulting side, they will support business development efforts by assisting with advisor outreach, CRM management, and competitive analysis, helping to strengthen relationships with financial advisors.
This internship offers a comprehensive experience in wealth management and investment sales, providing valuable industry knowledge, mentorship, and hands-on projects that can serve as a foundation for a career in asset management, financial advisory, or investment consulting.
Qualifications - Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments.
- Critical attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Strong interest in investments, sales, and marketing within the financial services industry.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred; familiarity with investment research platforms is a plus.
- Assets Under Advisement consist of $58.4 billion of regulatory assets under management by Meeder Investment Management’s registered investment adviser affiliates and $100.6 billion of non-discretionary assets as to which Meeder Public Funds provides strategic advice or consultation as of December 31, 2023.
