Job Description

Trauma Surgeon | Permanent Role

Location: Frisco, TX 75034
Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Guaranteed: 40 Hours
Compensation: Based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide 24/7 trauma surgery coverage in a Level I/II trauma center environment.
Perform emergency surgical procedures for trauma patients.
Participate in trauma call rotation.
Manage pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including emergency physicians, intensivists, and specialists.
Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions, procedures, and outcomes.
Participate in trauma quality improvement programs and morbidity/mortality reviews.
Supervise and mentor residents, advanced practice providers (APPs), and medical students, as applicable.

Qualifications:

Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO) Required
Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery Required
Fellowship-trained in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care.
Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas Required
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification Required
Prior experience working in a high-volume trauma center
